Today’s Race Postponed!

Good morning, everybody –

 

Normally, I’d be leaping at the opportunity for doing our annual “Around Misery Island Race” this afternoon. However, with the wind forecasted to be in the high teens – – – with gusts into the mid-30s later today, it becomes prudent to postpone the race for Rhodes-19s and Town Class, until next Sunday, September 19th. The “Warning” will continue to be at 1:00 PM for next Sunday.

 

I am sorry to do a postponement today – but safety remains paramount!

 

As a reminder, Twilight races this coming week are scheduled for Tuesday, the 14th (for the Town Class) and for Thursday, the 16th (for Rhodes 19s and Town Class). Our Fall Series #2 (Town Class) will be on next Saturday afternoon, the 18th.
